Saturday August 28
Matt Minglewood
Saturday night August 28 will be large at the Shore Club as Matt Minglewood will be back on stage. Matt made his first appearance at the Shore Club in 1968, on his way to becoming a rock legend in Nova Scotia. The Shore Club is still one of the few venues where you can hear the whole band and be able to actually dance to his music.
For a whole generation of MingleFans, Matt's hits are like anthems - Can't You See, Caledonia, Long Way from Texas, Whiz Kids, East Coast Blues - the list goes on and on. Matt is also a great storyteller, and between tunes he lets you know all the hurt, happiness and sorrow that went into every song.
On Saturday night the doors open at 9:30 with dancing from 10:00 - 1:30. Tickets are $20 and are only available at the door. We are expecting a large crowd so we suggest that you arrive early.
If you want to beat the line up, you might want to consider enjoying the Lobster Supper at the Shore Club before the dance. You can purchase your ticket with your meal, and this will take you to the front of the line. Reservations for seating between 4:00 - 7:00 can be made by calling 857-9555.

The Shore Club Lobster Suppers are now open every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. (right up until Thanksgiving Day - October 10th) Either e-mail or phone 857-9555 for reservations.
